Gaya Hidup Tak Sehat Pertanda IQ Rendah

Dr. David Batty, ketua peneliti dari Medical Research Council’s Social and Public Health Sciences Unit University of Glasgow, mengatakan orang-orang dengan IQ rendah terkadang salah menangkap pesan kesehatan sehingga salah bertindak.

How to Help Your Child Manage Homework

Homework shouldn't (and needn't) throw the family household into a nightly uproar. Here are some commonsense guidelines to help your child take responsibility for what is, after all, her job.

1
Help your child organize the three S's: space, stuff and schedule. Disorganization will turn 40 minutes of math, history and science into two hours of blood, sweat and tears.

2
Ask your child to review her assignments with you every so often. Especially in the middle and upper grades, assignments must be managed over time, so be sure your child plans the work and works the plan.

3
Emphasize that your child's schoolwork is the number one priority. Continued participation in extracurricular activities, a part-time job, and/or leisure pursuits are to be worked in around completion of regular homework and other assignments.

4
Check your child's work - not every night, but often enough that she knows you might (and that you care).

5
Insist that she redoes sloppy work, but don't correct mistakes. Teachers need to know what students don't know.

Overall Tips & Warnings

* Don't fall into the trap of doing your child's homework for, or even with, her. Process is as important as product, and it doesn't help your child that you know how to reduce fractions to the lowest common denominator.

How to Raise A Super Smart Baby

by angelface4

From day one when your child is born you want to ensure that your he will have a bright future and we all want baby geniuses right? Well a genius might be a little out of the realm of possibility, but there are steps that you can take to at least make sure that your child reaches his full learning potential. Here are 3 step to get him there...

Steps

1
Read to your child from the time he comes home from the hospital! It is a proven fact that babies who are read to everyday have a 98% success rate over children who are not exposed to reading. They may not understand what you are reading, but in time, sooner than you think, that child will surprise you with picking up a book and quoting it word for word!

2
Go phonics go! Schools rely heavily on this skill and "Hooked on Phonics books" are a must for increasing your child pronunciation of words. Don't feel silly going over these sounds with a newborn because they are the first of many skills he will develop!

3
Sing to your baby! Abc's, 123's, the "itsy bitsy spider", it does not matter! Singing will build your child's memorization skills which will lead to a successful child in school, or at the very least, a recording contract!

Tips & Warnings

* Following these 3 skills may not make your baby an Einstein, but they are proven ways to give your baby a brighter future!
* To your babies success!!
